The Ebbe & Food GmbH is a developer and distributor in the food industry, known for high-quality and innovative plant-based products, primarily as a supplier but also with its own consumer brand “Veggie Crumbz.”
We are looking for a committed and experienced Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our team and help maintain and further develop our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
– Responsibility for implementing and continuously improving the quality management system according to ISO 9001, IFS, or BRC.
– Preparation of certifications.
– Conducting and monitoring external audits as well as hygiene inspections.
– Performing sensory analyses.
– Creating and maintaining quality documentation and specifications.
– Supporting employees with quality assurance matters.
– Monitoring compliance with legal requirements and internal production standards.
– Analyzing and handling customer complaints and initiating corrective actions.
– Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement quality improvements.
– Working with external laboratories.
Requirements:
– Degree in Food Technology, Nutritional Science, or a comparable qualification.
– Several years of professional experience in quality management in the food industry.
– Solid knowledge of relevant standards and norms (ISO, IFS, BRC).
– Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Confident use of MS Office and ideally ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central, also Xentral in use).
– Proficiency with MacOS is a plus.
– Good command of English, both written and spoken.
